Imagine our surprise here on the eve of spring break in the Delta to be
caught in the path of a winter storm. Snowfall is rare here, but last
night's inch or two made for some momentary excitement. The area's
spring-primed children, many experiencing their first snowfall, stumbled
out at daybreak to make dwarf snowmen and mud angels before the
mid-morning sun reclaimed their winter folly. Here's a look across
