> Year of Our Lord

On Wednesday, October 13, 2010, we hosted a book launch celebration for YEAR OF OUR LORD, one of the most surprising and unique books we've seen about the Mississippi Delta. It tells the story of Lucas McCarty, a young man unable to speak and move with ease due to cerebral palsy, who nonetheless sings in the choir of the African-American Trinity House of Prayer Holiness church. The book's author, T.R. Pearson, and photographer, Langdon Clay, signed the book after a stirring performance by the choir, featuring Lucas.
